Desarrollo de fotocatálisis asistida por luz visible o fabricación de quimiosensores sensibles son de nuestro gran interés en campos de investigación modernos centrados en la aplicación ambiental, especialmente, degradación o detección de contaminantes tóxicos que emplean muestras reales.

Bioinorganica/ Fisica inorgánica: Sintetiza nuevos complejos metalicos empleando ligantes de benzimidazol, imidazol y piridil para resolver problemas ambientales catalíticos y biológicos. Se utilizan datos estructurales, espectrales, electroquímicos y teóricos para describir sus funciones. El carácter de coordinación de los ligantes se aplica en recubrimiento de superficies metálicas para la inhibición de la corrosión.
